You do not need to remove a language. Choose the language you want at export time, from the project you already have. Nothing is re-transcribed and no extra minutes are used.
In the editor, click Export, choose a subtitle format, and pick the Single-line mode — then select the one language you want. The exported file contains only that language.
To answer the question directly: once a subtitle language (track) has been generated in a project it cannot be removed, and there is no delete option for individual languages. Exporting the language you want does the same job.
Download subtitles in just one language
In the editor, click Export and choose a subtitle format. In the export dialog, pick the mode:
Single-line — select the one language you want; the exported file contains only that language.
Bilingual — two languages stacked in one file.
All Tracks — every language, one file per language, packaged in a single ZIP.
Export a video with only one subtitle language
In the video export dialog, choose Main and pick the language you want burned into the video. (Choose Bilingual if you want two languages shown together.)
Hide a language while editing
In the editor's subtitle list you can select Hide translation column to hide a translation from view while you work. This only changes what you see in the editor — it does not change the project or your exports.
Changing between written and spoken style
Written Cantonese and spoken Cantonese are chosen when the subtitles are created, not afterwards. An existing track cannot be switched from one style to the other in place — that requires the file to be processed again, which uses minutes. If you selected written Cantonese and the output looks like spoken Cantonese, that is not expected behaviour: contact us with the project link and we will look at it.
Good to know
There is no "duplicate project" feature. Creating a new project with the same file will re-transcribe it and consume minutes again — for choosing an output language, exporting from your existing project is the better route.
A language that already has a track in the project cannot be added again as a new translation.
