The AI-Assisted Roofing Tool allows users to request an AI-generated roofing design directly from a roof proposal. Users can assign a designer, confirm the roof location on the map, select financing if needed, and add comments before submitting the request.
Follow the steps below to request an AI-assisted roofing design.
Step 1: Create a new proposal and select “Roof” from the “Job Type” dropdown.
Step 2: Choose “Retail” or “Insurance” from the “Roofing Type” dropdown.
Step 3: Select “AI Assisted - Request Design” from the “Select Design Tool” dropdown.
Step 4: Click “Create Proposal.”
Step 5: Click “Design Request.”
Step 6: Select a designer from the dropdown. Check the map pin and adjust it if needed. You may also select the preferred financing option and add a comment.
Step 7: Click “Save.”
Note: After submitting the design request, the roofing details page will show the current stage and assigned designer. You can use “Chat With Designer” to communicate with the designer or “Change Designer” to assign a different designer.
