Financeit financing is available for all job types in Canadian addresses, making financing more accessible. It creates a smoother, more connected financing workflow from quote to approval. Follow the steps below to complete a proposal using Financeit.
What You'll Need
Admin access to SubcontractorHub
A web browser (Chrome or Edge recommended)
Step-by-Step Instructions
Step 1
Click "Customers" from the main menu and click "New Customer".
Step 2
Fill in the details and click "Create Customer".
Step 3
Once the details are saved, click "View Detail".
Step 4
Select the utility provider and click "Start Design".
Step 5
Place the crosshair at the center of the home on the map and click "Confirm."
Step 6
Click on the modules that you want to include in the design. You will notice the system size, offset, and production all change in real-time. Update the Electric Bill pricing and Annual Usage to suit your customer's needs. You can select the type of panel that goes into the system alongside the design.

Click "Save".

Your AI-Assisted Design is ready with system size details. You can add an inverter and edit escalation, PPW, mounting type and roof type in this section.
Step 9
Scroll down and turn on the battery toggle to add batteries to your proposal.

Scroll down to "Adders" and add your preferred ones from the list.
Step 11
Scroll down to the Financing section and select "Financing (Fully Integrated)". Choose Financeit.

Select the preferred product from the dropdown and click "Add Loan".

Once the quote is added, click "Finalize". Note: The FinanceIt quote shown in the public proposal displays the complete lender offer details, not just the maximum APR and total term.

Note: Click “Finance Application” to open the customer-facing Financeit application. Click “Send Finance Application” to have Financeit send the application documents to the customer.

Click "Go To Lender Portal".

You can either select "Open URL" or "Copy URL". You can open the URL on the spot or copy it.

You will be directed to the lender portal.

Scroll down and click "Start an application now". The "Invite" button will send the customer a link specifically for them.
Step 18
On the next page, fill in the details to check eligibility.

Scroll down to the bottom, check the box, and click "Submit".

On the next page, add the financial details.

Scroll down to the bottom, check the box, and click "Submit".

Once you receive a summary of your loan, click "Continue".

On the next page, you will see the detailed information about your loan application.
Step 24
Return to the proposal page, click the "Sync Quote" button. Choose "Yes" when asked to confirm.
Step 25
After syncing, your finance card will show all the details, including the Loan ID, Status, and the Next Step. Note: If the customer's name, phone number, or email does not match between FinanceIt and SubcontractorHub, a banner will appear and data syncing will stop. The banner includes a Financeit portal link for the salesperson to review the details.
