  1. Login into your Attentive account and click Marketplace in the Setup menu on the left

  2. Click the Create app button top right

  3. Populate the App name and Contact email fields with the correct data

  4. Setup the permissions for the app:

    1. Custom attributes: write

    2. Custom events: write

    3. Subscribers: read

  5. Click Create to create the app

  6. Copy the API key and store it safely

After creating your Attentive API key, you can enable the integration in Subscribfy. This allows Subscribfy to connect with Attentive and start sending data.

  1. Login in your Shopify account

  2. Click on the Subscribfy app link in the Apps left menu

  3. Click on Integrations link in the left menu

  4. Find and click on the Enable Atttentive Integration

  5. Add your API key and click save

Once the integration is enabled, you can create a journey in Attentive to automatically send emails whenever a new membership is created in Subscribfy. This ensures timely communication with your subscribers.

  1. Click on the Journeys link in the Messaging menu

  2. Click Create journey

  3. Click Start from scratch

  4. Select the Transactional in the All trigger types menu

  5. Select the Subscribfy New Membership event and create the journey

Subscribfy sends a set of custom events to Attentive, allowing you to track membership and payment activities. These events can be used to trigger journeys or update subscriber data in Attentive.

  • Subscribfy Membership Created

  • Subscribfy Membership Cancelled

  • Subscribfy Membership Reactivated

  • Subscribfy Successful Charge

  • Subscribfy Failed Charge
