What is the "Okendo Integration"?
The Okendo Integration feature in Subscribfy allows merchants to connect their Okendo account to the Subscribfy Loyalty program. By integrating Okendo via an API key, merchants can automatically reward customers with loyalty points based on their review activity.
Once the integration is set up, Subscribfy can access customer review data from Okendo. Merchants can then configure specific rules within the Loyalty Rewards section to determine how and when points are awarded, for example, giving points for leaving a review or adding a photo.
This feature empowers merchants to incentivize customer engagement and boost review collection by seamlessly linking reviews to their loyalty rewards strategy.
Note: You have to be on the Growth plan in Okendo in order to enable this feature!
How to set up this feature?
Follow these steps to integrate Okendo with Subscribfy and begin rewarding customers for leaving reviews:
Connect Okendo to Subscribify
Retrieve Your Okendo API Credentials
Go to the Apps section in Subscribfy.
Search for and select the Okendo app, then click Open Okendo Platform – this will redirect you to the Okendo dashboard.
In Okendo:
Go to Settings > Integrations.
In the Credential Settings, find the Okendo section.
Copy the User ID.
Click the "Show" button next to the API Key to reveal it, and then copy the API Key.
Return to Subscribfy and paste both the User ID and API Key into the integration fields.(Step 1)
Click the "Turn On" button to activate the integration.(Step 1)
Set Up Review-Based Reward Rules
In the Loyalty section of Subscribfy, go to the Rewards Program tab.
Click Create New Rule.
Select the Reviews Rule to reward customers for submitting reviews via Okendo.
Configure Review Rule Settings
Basic Rules
Reward Settings: Set up how customers will be rewarded on their reviews. You can choose between loyalty points or a custom discount coupon as the reward method:
If the selected method is 'Points', you can define the number of points in the section 'Points Amount' and these points will be automatically added to their loyalty balance once the goal spend is reached.
If you choose Coupon Discount as the reward method, you can customize its behavior through the following settings:
Coupon Type
You must first choose one of the following coupon types:
Amount Off: Provides a monetary or percentage discount on the customer's purchase
Fixed Amount — e.g., "$10 off any purchase"
Fixed Percentage — e.g., "15% off selected items"
Free Shipping: Provides free delivery instead of a discount on products
Free Product: It's recommended to select a collection that contains all of the products. This way the customer will need to add any product and get another for free
Search Collections: Select the collections from which the customer gets the free product
Search Products: Select the product the customer gets as free
Code Prefix (Available for All Types)
Define a custom or auto-generated prefix (e.g.,
BDAY2025-JOHN
) to create unique coupon codes for each customer.Add Rules (Vary by Coupon Type)
If Amount Off is selected:
Apply Discount To:
All products — Applies store-wide to every item
Specific collections — Applies only to selected collection(s)
Specific products only — Applies only to selected product(s)
Minimum Spend:
Set a purchase threshold required before the discount can be applied (e.g., "Minimum $50 purchase")
If Free Shipping is selected:
Allowed Countries:
Limit the use of the coupon to specific countries.
Combinations (Available for All Types)
Control whether this birthday coupon can be combined with:
Product Discounts
Order Discounts
Shipping Promotions (only available if Amount Off is selected)
Discount Code Expiration (Available for All Types)
Specify how long the coupon code will remain valid after it is issued.
Review Rules:
Specify if the review must include photos, videos, or both to qualify for points.
Completion Rules:
Advanced Rules
Restrict by customer: Target all or only selected customers
Action regarding customer tags: exclude/include the Customer Tags
Customer Tags: enter the customer tag

Once configured, click Save to apply your changes.
How Do Customers Experience This Reward?
Once the Okendo integration is active and review rules are set, customers will automatically receive loyalty points when they leave a product review that meets the criteria you’ve defined (e.g., includes a photo or video).
FAQs
Q: Can I choose which types of reviews earn points (e.g., photo reviews only)?
A: Yes. In the Review Rules section, you can require that a review includes a photo, video, or both in order to qualify for points.
Q: What happens if a customer leaves multiple reviews?
A: You can set a maximum number of times a customer can earn points for this action. Set this under “Completion Rules.” Setting it to “0” allows unlimited completions.
Q: Can I customize the reward message shown to the customer?
A: Yes. You can personalize the confirmation message in the “Basic Rules” section of the rule setup.
Q: Do I need a specific plan with Okendo for this integration to work?
A: You must have access to Okendo’s API credentials. Check your Okendo plan or contact their support to confirm access (Growth plan).
