Quick Setup
Customer Management is available by default - no setup required! Simply navigate to the Customers section to start using it.
Step 1: Open Customers
Go to Subscribfy > Customers in your Shopify admin.
Step 2: Find Your Customer
Use the search bar to find customers by name or email. You can also sort by:
Customer name (A-Z or Z-A)
Loyalty points (highest or lowest)
Last change date
Created date
Step 3: View Customer Details
Click on any customer ID to open their full profile with all details and actions.
What You See in the Customer List

ID | Shopify customer ID - click to view details |
Customer | Customer name - hover for quick preview |
Loyalty Points | Current points balance |
Store Credit | Current credit balance |
Latest Contract | Most recent subscription (shows "Gifted" badge if applicable) |

Device Type | Apple logo if Wallet Pass is installed |
Customer Profile Page
When you click on a customer, you'll see their complete profile.
Balance Overview
At the top, you'll see the customer's current balances:

Notes
Internal notes about this customer. Only your team can see these.
Customer Info

Subscriptions | List with duration (e.g., "VIP for 6 months") |
Orders | Total orders + total recharges |
Contact | Email address (click to copy) |
Marketing | Email and SMS subscription status |
Shareable Links
Link | What It Does | Condition |
Customer Unique Link | Opens their Customer Portal | Always available |
Customer Loyalty Unique Link | Opens their Loyalty Portal | Requires Loyalty enabled |
Customer Referral Link | Their personal referral link | Requires Loyalty enabled + referral active |
Important: These links are unique to each customer and don't require login. Never share a customer's link with other customers!
Wallet Pass
If Wallet Pass is enabled, you'll see: Installed at, Invites sent, and WalletPass Install Link.
If not enabled, you'll see a message to contact support for activation.
How to Adjust Store Credit
Go to Customers > Click customer > Click the edit icon next to Store Credit
Field | What It Does |
Action Type | "Adjust Balance" - add or subtract from current balance |
Adjust Balance | Amount to add (positive) or subtract (negative) |
Reason | Explanation shown to the customer |
Example: To give $10 credit, enter 10. To remove $5, enter -5.
Note: This option only appears if your account has permission to edit store credits.
How to Adjust Loyalty Points
Go to Customers > Click customer > Click the edit icon next to Loyalty Points
Field | What It Does |
Action Type | "Adjust Balance" - add or subtract from current balance |
Adjust Balance | Points to add (positive) or subtract (negative) |
Reason | Explanation shown to the customer |
Example: To give 500 bonus points, enter 500. To correct an error, enter -100.
Note: This option only appears if Loyalty is enabled for your store.
How to Add Customer Notes
Go to Customers > Click customer > Click edit icon in Notes card
Click the edit icon next to "Notes"
Type your internal note
Click Save
Use notes to track: Customer preferences, Previous support interactions, Special requests, Account issues.
How to Copy Customer Links
Go to Customers > Click customer > Find the link in the Info card
Find the link you need (Unique Link, Loyalty Link, or Referral Link)
Click the copy icon
Paste and send to customer
Tip: The Customer Unique Link lets customers access their portal without logging in - perfect for email support!
Common Use Cases
Resolve a Billing Issue
The goal: Give store credit as compensation
Go to Customers > Search for the customer
Click on their profile
Click the edit icon next to Store Credit
Enter the amount (e.g.,
15for $15)Add reason: "Compensation for billing issue - ticket #1234"
Click Save
Check Why a Charge Failed
The goal: Understand payment issues
Go to Customers > Search for the customer
Click on their profile
Scroll to Activity Logs
Click the Charges tab
Review the timeline for failed payment entries
Send Portal Access Link
The goal: Help a customer who can't log in
Go to Customers > Search for the customer
Click on their profile
Find Customer Unique Link in the Info card
Click the copy icon
Send the link to the customer via email
Add a Note About a VIP Customer
The goal: Track important customer information
Go to Customers > Search for the customer
Click on their profile
Click the edit icon in the Notes card
Add your note: "VIP customer - always prioritize support requests"
Click Save
Feature Availability
Some features require specific modules to be enabled:

If you don't see an option, check with your admin to enable the required module.
Troubleshooting
Can't find a customer?
Try searching by email address instead of name. Check for typos in your search.
Edit buttons not showing?
Your account may not have permission to edit credits/points. Contact your admin to request access.
Loyalty Link not showing?
The Loyalty module needs to be enabled. Go to Subscribfy > Loyalty and enable it.
Wallet Pass shows activation message?
The Wallet Pass module is not enabled. Contact Subscribfy support to activate it.
Activity logs are empty?
New customers won't have activity until they make a purchase or interact with subscriptions.
