Sometimes people inside your CRM share the same name, or for some reason, Surfe did not find this LinkedIn contact in your CRM.

When this happens, Surfe uses the LinkedIn URL property (if present) inside your CRM to identify the correct corresponding profile on LinkedIn.

However, if the LinkedIn URL is not present in your database, it will be hard for Surfe to match the correct profiles.

If this happens, you can always edit the link of a contact, lead, or account to the correct CRM profile.

Keep reading to learn how to correctly map or update fields, to make sure your data doesn’t get messy.

Follow these steps to edit the match between a Linkedin profile and CRM record
