Deleting Students

Learn how to remove students from your classes on the TalkingPoints for Teachers website and app.

In the event a student is no longer in one of your classes, or they have moved on from the school/organization entirely, you can delete their profile from your TalkingPoints account.

If you cannot complete this action, that means your student information is synced directly from the school. Contact a school admin to remove the student(s).

Web

Step 1: Click on the student's class.

Step 2: Find the student that you'd like to delete and check their name.

Step 3: Select one of two options—'Remove from class' if you only want to remove the student from the 1 class you selected, or 'Remove from Account' to remove them from all of your classes.

Step 4: Click 'Delete' in the pop-up message to confirm your action.


Mobile App

Step 1: Tap on the classes tab to select the student's class.

Step 2: Select 'Students.'

Step 3: Tap on the student, and scroll down to 'Delete student.'

Step 4: Tap 'Delete' again in the pop-up message to confirm your action.
