You will receive an email to your school email address with a unique 12-digit student code. This code is not case-sensitive. Using this code, you will be able to join TalkingPoints through SMS text or by using the TalkingPoints for Families app to message your district, school, and teachers.

To sign up for TalkingPoints and receive messages from your teachers, school, and district via SMS text:

Step 1: Text the unique 12-digit student code from the email you received to the phone number listed to join your classes.

Once our system has verified your identity, you will receive a welcome message from a different phone number welcoming you to your school or district. Save this number for future communication with your school or district.

To sign up for TalkingPoints and receive messages from your teachers, school, and district via the TalkingPoints for Families mobile app:

Step 1: Download the TalkingPoints for Families app

Step 2: Select your language

Step 3: Use your phone number to log into the app

Step 4: Use the 5-digit verification code you receive to log in.

Step 5: Use your unique 12-digit student code from the email you received and click 'next' to join your classes
