Favorite' and 'Hide' Classes

Learn how to filter between primary and secondary classes by using the ‘favorite’ and ‘hide’ features.

Updated over a month ago

Teachers can ‘favorite’ prioritized classes and groups and ‘hide’ others to make navigating rosters easier.

'Favorite' Classes

'Favoriting' a class or group helps teachers access their most important classes or groups easily.

Step 1: Go to the ‘Classes’ tab.

Step 2: Click on the 'Active Classes' category to expand it.

Step 3: Hover over the class name and click the star icon to add the class to 'Favorites.' You can also click the three dots and select the option to ‘Add to favorites.'

The class automatically moves to the top of the list of classes and is featured in a new 'Favorites' folder in the left-hand menu.

The class can be removed from ‘favorites’ at any time by clicking the ‘favorite’ icon beside the class information.

'Hide' Classes

‘Hiding’ classes or groups move them to the ‘hidden drawer.’ Teachers can still communicate with hidden classes and groups, but they appear in the drawer instead of the class list. This is especially helpful for classes that are duplicative or no longer needed.

Step 1: Go to the ‘Classes’ tab.

Step 2: Click on the 'Active Classes' category to expand it.

Step 3: Hover over the class name and click the eye icon to add the class to the 'Hidden' category and remove from view. You can also click the three dots and select the option to 'Hide this class.'

Click on the 'Hidden' category to access the hidden classes. The class is now removed from your Active Classes category in the left sidebar.

Hover over the class and click the ‘eye’ icon again to remove the class from being hidden. The class will reappear in your list.
