Favorite' and 'Hide' Classes and Groups

Learn how to filter between primary and secondary classes and groups by using the ‘favorite’ and ‘hide’ features.

Updated over 2 weeks ago

Teachers can ‘favorite’ prioritized classes and groups and ‘hide’ others to make navigating rosters easier.

'Favorite' Classes and Groups

'Favoriting’ a class or group helps teachers access their most important classes or groups easily.

Step 1: Go to the ‘Classes & Groups’ tab.

Step 2: Click on 'Your Groups' or the name of your school to expand the category.

Step 3: Hover over the class or group name and click the star icon to add it to 'Favorites.' You can also click the three dots and select the option to 'Add to favorites.'

The class or group is now featured in a new 'Favorites' folder in the left-hand menu. If it was a group, it will be at the top of your Classes & Groups page.

Remove from ‘favorites’ at any time by clicking the ‘favorite’ icon beside the class or group information.

'Hide' Classes and Groups

‘Hiding’ classes or groups move them to the ‘hidden drawer.’ Teachers can still communicate with hidden classes and groups, but they appear in the drawer instead of the class list. This is especially helpful for lists that are duplicative or no longer needed.

Step 1: Go to the ‘Classes & Groups’ tab.

Step 2: Click on 'Your Groups' or the name of your school to expand the category.

Step 3: Hover over the class or group name and click the eye icon to add it to the 'Hidden' category and remove from view. You can also click the three dots and select the option to 'Hide this class.'

Click on the 'Hidden' category to access the hidden classes and groups. The class or group is now removed from view in the left sidebar.

Hover over the class or group and click the ‘eye’ icon again to remove it from being hidden. The class or group will reappear in your list.
