During times of transition such as the start of the new school year or semester to semester changes, districts might not want families to view their student's schedules before they are finalized. TalkingPoints allows classes & groups to be hidden from families using the TalkingPoints for Families app while allowing districts to share all necessary data with TalkingPoints.
Turning off class and group visibility will prevent family contacts using the TalkingPoints for Families app from seeing classes and groups or messaging any teachers.
Step 1: Click on 'Settings.'
Step 2: Select 'Turn off visibility.'
Step 3: Confirm by selecting 'Turn Off.'
A banner will let you know that class and group visibility has been turned off.
To turn class and group visibility on again:
Step 1: Click on "Turn on" in the banner
Step 2: Confirm by selecting "Turn On"
Class and group visibility will display a green "on" checkmark.
