This feature is only supported on the Teachers mobile app at this time.
TalkingPoints offers the ability to add captions to all videos sent through the Teacher app. These captions will automatically be translated into each contact's home language when sent.
To add a caption you will first need to attach a video to a message on the mobile app. Right before you send the message an option to add a caption will appear. Click OK and your video will include translated captions.
Please note: Captions will only be able to translate into other languages when using audio originally recorded in English.

This feature can only be utilized on the mobile app and is currently unavailable on the web app.
To ensure an optimal experience, families who use the app will need to run the latest version. We recommend teachers send an announcement encouraging families to update their app if they haven't done so recently.
Remember that our video captions are just like our messages, so our tips for translation are also applicable. We also strongly suggest speaking clearly and not too quickly.
