Job Creation Fields

Lets have a look at at the different fields required when creating a new job on YourDriverApp.

Job Ownership

Choose who manages the job, either you (private) or a Business Group. When you assign a job to a Business Group, that group receives any commissions.

Pickup Address and Destination

Enter the pickup location by searching for addresses, airports, hotels, restaurants, or any business or public location. The destination field is optional since passengers don't always know their final destination.

Time-saving tips:

  • Mark contacts as passengers to auto-fill their pickup information

  • Save frequent addresses as favorites (search in the Search tab, tap the 3 dots, and name it)

  • Select marked customers from the Customers tab to auto-fill their saved addresses

Pickup Time

Set when the passenger needs to be picked up, either Now or schedule a future date and time.

Passenger Details

Enter contact information drivers need to reach the passenger. You can search your contact list to auto-fill passenger details. If you include an email address, you can send automatic booking confirmations.

Vehicle Type

Choose the appropriate vehicle based on passenger and cargo needs. YourDriverApp uses a top-down dispatch system to ensure drivers only receive suitable jobs:

Pricing

Configure job pricing with these options:

Invoice Addressee

  • Passenger is debtor: Invoice goes directly to the passenger

  • Different debtor: Create or select a separate billing contact (track these in the YourDriverApp Portal for later invoicing)

Fare Calculation

  • On meter: Fare based on taxi meter reading

  • Fixed: Pre-agreed flat rate

Payment Method

  • In taxi (cash/card at completion)

  • Via invoice (billed separately)

Commission

Set a service fee for drivers you're providing work to. This doesn't affect the customer's price—drivers see the commission when receiving the job offer. Track and invoice commissions through the YourDriverApp Portal.

Three commission types:

  • Percentage: Commission as a percentage of the job price

  • Fixed amount: Set commission amount

  • Fixed driver payout: Guaranteed amount the driver receives
