In this article, we will explore the different pricing settings and understand how rule priority works
Accessing Pricing Settings
Navigate to Settings > Prices to view and manage all configured rules. Create new rules by clicking the blue '+' button in the lower right corner.
Understanding Rule Priority
How Priority Works
Priority determines which rule applies when multiple rules match a booking. Rules are numbered sequentially, with priority 1 having the highest precedence. The system checks rules from highest to lowest priority until finding a match.
Critical Priority Principle
Rules with broader geographic scope must have lower priority numbers than specific rules. Otherwise, broad rules will override all others and deactivate them.
Priority Configuration Example
Correct priority order:
Location to Location rule X
Location to Location rule Y
Dynamic rule B: Airport X to Everywhere
Dynamic rule A: Everywhere to Everywhere
Warning: If Dynamic rule A (Everywhere to Everywhere) has priority 1, all other rules become deactivated because it matches every booking.
Adjusting Priority
Change priority by:
Entering a new number directly in the priority field
Dragging rules to reorder them in the overview
