Teach 'n Go uses a single currency across the whole school. You can change it at any time, but read the warning below before doing so.
If you don't see the Settings section, ask your admin to check your permissions.
Where to change the currency
Go to Settings → General → Localization.
Find the Currency & numbers section.
Use the searchable dropdown to find and select your currency.
Choose which side the currency symbol appears on (left or right of the amount).
Choose a number format — five examples are shown to help you pick the right thousands separator and decimal style for your locale.
Save.
⚠️ Important: changing currency re-labels, it doesn't convert
Changing the currency does not convert any amounts. A fee of 100 that was in GBP becomes a fee of 100 in whatever currency you switch to — the number stays the same, only the symbol changes. There is no conversion calculation, and there is no confirmation dialog before the change takes effect.
This also affects Stripe: if you have Stripe connected, your Stripe account must be configured for the same currency. Changing currency in Teach 'n Go while Stripe is set to a different currency will cause payment collection errors.
If you are genuinely changing your school's operating currency, you will need to manually review and update all existing fee amounts to reflect the correct values in the new currency.
