Admins can efficiently add multiple students to Teach 'n Go by following a straightforward process of uploading data using an Excel file template.
Begin the Process
Click the "Add" button on the top menu bar.
Choose the 'Import People' option.
Click on the "Import Students" button.
Add Student Data
Upload your student data:
Option 1: Download the Teach 'n Go student import template for a structured format (recommended). This method is necessary if you are adding related contacts and would like them to students during the upload process
Option 2: Use your own Excel file with existing student information.
2. For custom fields:
Add them first to the system.
Include additional columns in the template, ensuring they match the custom field names.
3. Upload the filled template to Teach 'n Go to initiate the import process.
Mapping Columns
Map the columns in your uploaded file to the corresponding fields in Teach 'n Go. Ensure custom student fields are added and aligned beforehand for accurate mapping.
Verify Data
The system will verify the data on the following page to ensure the correct formats are in place. Review any fields flagged as invalid and make necessary edits directly within the import tool.
Complete the Process
Continue on to complete the import process. Congratulations! Your students should now be successfully imported into Teach 'n Go.
