How to set student holidays

Learn how to set a holiday period for a student to ensure accurate attendance tracking in Teach ’n Go.

If a student will be absent for an extended period, you can set a holiday directly on their profile. This helps keep attendance records accurate and prevents unnecessary follow-ups during the holiday period.


Set a holiday for a student

  1. Go to People > Students.

  2. Open the student’s profile.

  3. Click the More button on the right-hand side.

  4. Select Set holiday from the dropdown menu.

  1. In the pop-up window, enter the start date and end date of the holiday period.

  2. Click Save.

The holiday period will now be recorded in the system.


What happens during a student holiday

  • Lessons during the selected dates will reflect the student’s holiday period.

  • Attendance tracking remains accurate.

  • Admins and teachers can clearly see that the absence is planned.


Troubleshooting

  • Set holiday option not visible? Make sure you have the correct user permissions.

  • Dates not saving? Check that both start and end dates are selected.

  • Need to adjust the holiday? Reopen the student profile, click on the Holidays tab to view and update the holiday dates.
