Allow students to update their details

Learn how to let students and related contacts update their own profile details in Teach ’n Go.

Step 1: Permit students to access their profiles

Students and related contacts must have permission to view and edit their profiles through the Student/Parent Portal.

  1. Go to Settings.

  2. Select Student permissions.

  3. Enable the option that allows students to access and edit their own profile details.

Step 2: Grant access to view and update custom fields

If you use custom student fields, you can allow students and related contacts to update those fields as well.

  1. Go to Settings.

  2. Select Custom student fields.

  3. For each field you want them to update, enable the option for student or related contact visibility/editing.
