The lesson card is your central workspace for managing all aspects of a specific lesson. It brings attendance, communication, notes, behaviours, and lesson updates into one simple, easy-to-use place. Teachers, admins, and staff with the proper permissions can access it at any time.

What you can do on the lesson card

Each lesson has its own lesson card. From here, you can quickly complete many daily lesson tasks:

  • Record attendance

  • Add positive and negative behaviours (praise)

  • Add private teacher notes, public student notes, individual student notes, and upload attachments

  • Send emails or SMS to the lesson group

  • Edit lesson details such as time, location, or teacher

  • Cancel the lesson if needed

  • Add students or prospects

  • Invite students to the student portal

  • Print the attendance register

Teachers can complete the lesson card during the lesson or afterwards β€” whichever works best for them.

How to access the Lesson card

You can open the lesson card from several places:

  1. From the Calendar, click a lesson.

  2. From the Dashboard (Daily view), select the lesson.

  3. From the Class details page, choose a lesson from the schedule.

Access is instant, so you can manage lesson details whenever you need to.

Why the lesson card matters

Using the lesson card helps you:

  • Keep daily lesson records organised

  • Communicate quickly with the lesson group

  • Maintain accurate attendance and behaviour histories

  • Save time with all lesson tools in one place

  • Ensure consistency in how lessons are managed across your school
