Teach ’n Go allows teachers and admins to record grades for students on a per-lesson basis. Grades can be added directly from the lesson card, just like attendance and behaviour records, making it easy to track student performance over time.

Add grades from the lesson card

  1. Go to Classes and open the relevant class.

  2. Select the lesson you want to grade.

  3. Open the Lesson card.

  4. Click the Grade button.

  5. Enter grades:

    • For all students at once, or

    • Individually for selected students.

  6. Click Save.

Once saved, the grade will be recorded for each student for that specific lesson.

Default grading format

By default, grades are recorded as percentages (0–100).

Customise the grading system

If your school uses a different grading scale:

  1. Go to School settings.

  2. Open the Grades tab.

  3. Define your preferred grading format (for example, letter grades or custom ranges).

  4. Click Save.

The customised grading system will then be applied in the lesson card when adding grades.

Troubleshooting

  • Grade button not visible? Make sure you have the correct user permissions.

  • Grades not saving? Confirm you clicked Save after entering values.

  • Wrong grading format? Update the format in School settings > Grades.

Recording lesson grades in Teach ’n Go helps teachers monitor student progress and maintain consistent performance tracking across lessons.
