How to assign staff to a class

Learn how to add staff members and assign them to specific classes in Teach ’n Go.

Teach ’n Go allows you to add staff members who are not teachers, such as assistants or support staff, and give them access to specific classes. This helps ensure the right team members can view and manage the classes they are involved in.


Add a new staff member

  1. Go to People from the left-hand menu.

  2. Click Add and select Staff.

  3. Complete the required details in the form.

  4. Click Save.


Assign a staff member to a class

  1. Open the Staff profile.

  2. Go to the Classes tab.

  3. Click Assign to a class.

  4. Select the relevant class from the list.

  5. Confirm to grant access.

The staff member will now have access to the assigned class.


Adjust staff permissions

Depending on the staff member’s role, you may need to customise their access:

  1. Open the Staff profile.

  2. Go to the Permissions tab.

  3. Adjust access to lessons, attendance, student information, or other features as needed.

  4. Click Save.


Troubleshooting

  • Cannot assign a class? Make sure the staff profile has been saved first.

  • Staff cannot see the class? Check that the class is assigned and permissions are correctly set.

  • Wrong access level? Update the settings in the Permissions tab.


Assigning staff to classes ensures smooth collaboration while keeping access organised and role-specific.
