Teachers and staff can create assignments for any class in Teach ’n Go. Students can then upload their completed work through the portal, and teachers can review submissions and track when each student submitted their assignment. This guide walks you through the full process.
Creating an assignment
You can create assignments from two locations:
On the class details page
From the lesson card
If the assignment is related to a lesson, visit the relevant lesson
Click the Assignments button.
Add a new assignment
Once saved, you’ll see a list of all enrolled students and whether they have submitted their work.
Student submissions
1. Students access the assignment
Students log in to the Student Portal and open the Classes section.
They will see an Assignments tab showing all active assignments.
2. Students upload their work
From the assignment page, students can view the full instructions and upload their completed files, and submit the assignment when ready.
Important: Students must have permission to submit files through the portal.
After clicking Submit assignment, the assignment is marked as Submitted, and the teacher can review it.
Teacher viewing submissions
1. Track submitted and pending work
On the class Assignments tab, submissions are separated into:

Pending
This helps teachers quickly see who has completed the task.
2. Open and review the work
Teachers can click any student's name to view the assignment submission.
Next steps
After collecting assignment submissions, you can use the gradebook feature to manage assignment results and calculate final grades.
