Teach 'n Go allows you to personalise your message by including variables. These variables automatically insert specific details, making your communication more engaging and relevant. Here's how you can use them:

Note: these variables and the Insert Variable dropdown are available when you compose messages, announcements and bulk notifications. The portal invitation email editor (School Settings, Invitation Email tab) is a separate, plain text editor with no Insert Variable control. Any variable you type there is sent as literal text, not replaced with a real value.

When composing a new message, use the 'Insert Variable' dropdown form in which you can select variables to use in your message. The variable will be added to the location of the cursor in the message box.

Variables you can use here:

{RECIPIENT_FIRSTNAME} - The recipient's first name.
{RECIPIENT_NAME} - the recipient's full name.

{SCHOOL_NAME} - the school's name.

{STUDENT_ID} - Students Id

Using variables in your emails helps ensure each recipient receives a personalised message without requiring individual customisation.
