How to Bulk Upload Children on TeachKloud

TeachKloud allows you to quickly add multiple children at once using our Bulk Upload feature. To ensure a smooth upload process, please follow the guidelines below. A summarised version of the below instructions are repeated here in the bulk upload section of TeachKloud.


Before You Begin

Please make sure your Excel file meets the required format before uploading to avoid errors.


โœ… Required Columns

Your Excel file must include the following four mandatory columns. These column headers must match exactly:

Column Name

Description

Name

Full name of the child

DOB

Date of birth in the format dd-mm-yyyy

Gender

Must be either Male or Female

Room

Must match an existing room name on your TeachKloud account

Tip: If a room name does not match the room in TeachKloud, the upload will fail. Please double-check spelling before upload.


๐Ÿ“‚ File Format Requirements

To ensure compatibility:

  • The file must be in Excel format: .xlsx or .xls

  • .csv files are not supported

  • Column headers must match the sample Excel template provided.

  • Ensure that the room already exists in TeachKloud before uploading.

  • Double-check that all mandatory fields are complete to avoid processing errors.

  • If a parentโ€™s email address is included in the file, TeachKloud will automatically send the parent an email invite to access the app.


๐Ÿ“ฅ How to Upload Your File

  1. Download the sample Excel template (recommended) in the Bulk Upload Section.

  2. Fill in the required information for each child.

  3. Save your completed file.

  4. Go to Bulk Upload Children in your TeachKloud account.

  5. Click Choose File and select your Excel file.

  6. Click Upload & Process.
