How to Add or Update a Credit Balance on a Child's Account

Managing the credit balance on a child's account is a straightforward process. Once you add a credit, it will automatically be applied to subsequent invoices, until the balance reaches zero. Here's how you can add or update a credit balance:

  1. Access the Credit Balance Update Screen:

    • Click here or navigate to Billing Parents > Children.

  2. Update the Credit Balance:

    • Select Update credit balance (located on the right-hand side of the screen for laptop/desktop users, indicated by the red arrow in the screenshot below).

    • In the Increase/Decrease Credit Balance by field, enter the relevant amount. To increase the credit balance, enter a positive number (e.g., 10, 20). To decrease it, enter a negative number (e.g., -10, -20). Ensure you crosscheck the amount before saving (indicated by the pink arrow in the screenshot below).

  3. Example of Updating Credit Balance:

    • If the current credit amount is 100 and you want to increase it by 20, enter 20 in the Update credit balance field. To decrease by 10, enter -10.

  4. Viewing Credit Balance History:

    • You can view the credit balance history for any child by selecting Billing Parents > Children. Then, select the relevant room/child and choose View credit balance history (located on the left-hand side of the screen for laptop/desktop users, indicated by the yellow arrow in the screenshot below).
