Reasons for rejecting a candidate

In complete Teamio, you can select the Reject action to choose the most common reasons for rejection in your company with just a few clicks. You can easily find them in all important places in Teamio.

In Settings, you will find Rejection reasons, where you can easily create these reasons, enabling you to select the right reason with one click when rejecting candidates.

To start, we have prepared a few of the most common reasons for you. If they suit you, you can start using them directly in the Reject action. Of course, if they do not suit you, any reason can be deleted in administration.

By default, the reasons for rejection are enabled but optional. If you want to ensure that a standardized reason for rejection is always recorded in the company, change the reasons to mandatory in Settings.

If you are missing a reason, you can easily add a new one with a name of your choice. In Settings, you will find a button for this in the top right corner. Just enter a name that does not already exist as a reason and save it. Then this reason will always be offered to you in the list of reasons during the Reject action.

If you no longer need any of the reasons, you can archive it in Settings. Deleting a reason for rejection will not affect candidates for whom this reason was recorded. So you don't have to worry about deleting valuable historical information.

The rejection itself is very simple. Depending on the settings (whether it is mandatory or not), a new item will appear in the action Reject (anywhere in Teamio) showing a new itemRejection reason, where you can select one of the existing reasons.

If you have entered a rejection reason for a candidate, it will be permanently stored in their Activity history. You can also find the reason by hovering over the candidate's status Rejectedin various places in Teamio.
