The goal of the action Pre-select is to distinguish candidates who have a chance from those who are more likely to be rejected. It is only a internal action in Teamio, which your candidate does not see, and no e-mail is sent to them. However, if you would like to send this candidate a message that you have moved them a step further in your recruitment process, you can let them know using the action Write to candidate. If you prefer another form of communication, such as by phone, it can be recorded in Teamio using the action Record contact by adding a note about what the call was about.
TIP: For each pre-selected candidate, we recommend noting in the comments what caught your attention. The candidate note remains permanently and anyone in Teamio can see it.
Why use the action Pre-select
In the list of candidates, you can see at a glance that you have already processed the candidate and they have a chance in the recruitment campaign.
If you have colleagues involved in the recruitment campaign, it is also a message for them that you consider the candidate suitable and worth checking out. Without saying anything to them.
Involved colleagues see your notes on pre-selected candidates, which means they immediately know what caught your attention and do not need to ask for your opinion.
If you send selected candidates to line managers for assessment, you can easily filter those pre-selected and send them in bulk.
Based on this status, candidates can be filtered in the database of your own candidates.
You can also move candidates to Pre-selected in bulk.
Candidates with this status can also be found together with the status Invited in the combined status In play, where you can see all candidates who still have a chance. They can be easily filtered in the list of candidates.
You can see the total number on the homepage or in the recruitment listings. This way, you have an overview of how the recruitment campaign is progressing.
