You’ve made your Activity Plan, now it’s time to schedule automatically. When you apply your plan, your rules will be used to generate schedules across the period of your choosing.
Applying a plan
When you’re happy with your activity plan you can add it to the schedule by clicking the 'add to schedule' button in the top right of your screen.
Any previous activities for agents in this plan will be removed (this includes manual edits).
Activities will be added to the schedule in draft.
Activities will be fairly distributed across all your surfers according to your rules.
Activities and breaks will schedule around any synced calendar events (read more about synced events here)
The coverage bar for this activity plan will show at the top of the schedule. (read more about the coverage bar here).
💡 You need to publish the schedule to share your scheduled activities with your team. Even if you previously published the shifts.
Editing the schedule
Once your activity plan is applied to the schedule, you're free to make manual edits like changing the activity type of length.
Time off and calendar events
When your Activity Plan is applied, the system will schedule around any existing synced calendar events or time off in the calendar.
If a new event is synced into the schedule, it will overwrite and replace any previously scheduled activities
If an event is removed from the schedule, it will leave a gap in the schedule. You can either reapply the Activity Plan, or manually fill the gaps.
