How Payments Work on TELA

TELA records and tracks all payments made through your storefront. Understanding how the payment process works ensures you fulfill orders confidently and avoid financial errors.

Each user have a designated account number that you can use to recieve money.

The Payment Flow From Storefront Explained

When a customer places an order:

Step 1: Customer Selects Product

The customer browses your store and adds products to their cart.

Step 2: Checkout

The customer proceeds to checkout and enters their payment details.

Step 3: Payment Processing

The payment is securely processed.

Step 4: Transaction Record

Once payment is completed:

  • A transaction is created

  • It appears in your dashboard

  • The status updates accordingly

Step 5: Notification

You receive a notification confirming the transaction.

Important Rule

Only fulfill orders when the transaction status is marked Successful.

Do not deliver goods or services if the status is:

  • Pending

  • Failed

Viewing Payment Details

To view full payment details:

  1. Go to Transactions

  2. Click the specific transaction

  3. Review:

    • Customer information

    • Amount paid

    • Products purchased

    • Payment status

    • Date and time

This ensures transparency and proper record keeping.
