TA - Assessment Statuses

The status of the audit changes during the audit process. This guide describes the different statuses and how to change them. Audit statuses can only be changed by users who have permission and once a change has been made it may not be possible to change the status to a previous one.

ASSESSMENT STATUSES

There are six assessment statuses in Assessments, which change as the process progresses:

Not started

When an assessment is created but has not been started and no PAF has been downloaded.

In Progress

The assessment status changes automatically to this when a PAF is created or when you start completing the assessment in Telus Audits.

Under Review

The status changes automatically to this when a PAF is submitted as under review. If you are completing in Telus Audits, you can select this status when you finish the assessment. This status allows the assessment to be reviewed in Telus Audits.

Assessor Review

This status allows the assessment and corrective actions to be reviewed by the assessor (i.e. auditor) in Telus Audits.

Site Review

This status publishes the assessment to the site and allows the site to update their corrective actions. These can then be signed off by the assessor, if required.

Closed

This is the final status that is set when the assessment has been completed.

Please note:

  • Statuses are controlled by user permissions so if you are unable to change a status, it may be because you do not have appropriate permissions.

  • If a PAF has been downloaded, you will not be able to edit the status until the PAF has been submitted as Under Review.

  • It may be possible to change the status directly from Under Review to Site Review, or directly from Under Review to Closed to skip the review and corrective action processes.

  • For self-assessments, it is possible to change the status from Under Review to Closed.

  • An additional status of Cancelled also exists, which can be used if you need to cancel an assessment.

The status can be changed in the assessment details page:

  1. Click on an Assessments link from the Home page:

  2. Locate the site and click Change status button.

  3. From the dropdown, select the required audit status:
