This guide details how to complete assessments in an offline capacity (using PAF reader), how to fill in and submit the completed PAF.
You will need to ensure that PAF reader is installed, use the following link:
To be able to access the website you will need to load it using Incognito mode in Chrome or downloading the PAF Reader installer via the Box link:-
1. Select the language of the assessment from the Actions column:
2. Tick the assessment's checkbox and select Download.
3. Open the downloaded file using PAF reader.
4. Click the
button to expand the question list.
5. Complete the assessment by choosing questions from the list on the left of the screen and adding the appropriate Primary and Secondary responses on the right, under the Response tab.
6. A Corrective Action can be raised by clicking the Corrective Actions tab, selecting a Deadline for completion, and entering in the details for the action.
7. To check your progress and to validate your assessment, click the Submit dropdown arrow to bring up a menu and select an option.
Submit – to submit your data so far. The audit can be submitted and amended again and resubmitted. This gives your Administrators visibility of your audit responses so far but the audit is NOT YET COMPLETE.
Submit as Under Review – THIS IS THE FINAL SUBMISSION TO SHOW THAT THE AUDIT HAS BEEN COMPLETED. Once you have clicked this button you will no longer be able to edit and submit the audit again. YOU MUST CLICK THIS OPTION TO COMPLETE THE AUDIT PROCESS IN PAF READER.
You may also choose to use the following options when applicable:
Submit as Re-scheduled - This allows you to re-schedule the audit for another date and then create another PAF file. This changes the audit status from ‘In Progress’ back to ‘Not Started’, the audit due date is removed and the ‘Scheduled Status’ of the audit changes to ‘Unscheduled’. You can then return to Quickfire Office, add a new Audit Due Date for the audit and create a new PAF file (both in the audit details screen). The first PAF file will then be redundant.
Submit as Cancelled – This changes the audit status to cancelled. You will no longer be able to edit the audit.
Your assessment will be validated and if any questions fail validation, you will be advised of the reason for this. You can then make the appropriate amendments to your assessment before attempting to submit again.
