If the hiring company sends you home earlier than planned, you’ll be paid for the actual hours you worked. However, there’s a minimum: you’ll always receive at least 3 hours of pay.
For example:
If you were scheduled for 8 hours but worked 5, you’ll be paid for 5 hours.
If you were scheduled for 8 hours but worked only 2, you’ll still be paid for 3 hours.
So even if your shift ends early, you’re guaranteed fair compensation.
