To apply for Temper Staff shifts, you must be allowed to work in the Netherlands. This is why we require European national ID cards, passports or Dutch residence permits stating ‘Arbeid vrij toegestaan’ and 'TWV (Tewerkstellingsvergunning) niet vereist’. This is also why driver's licenses aren't valid documents to establish your eligibility to work.
Who can work Temper Staff shifts?
Anyone with Dutch nationality or nationality from a country in the European Economic Area (EEA) can work Temper Staff shifts in the Netherlands. For non-EEA nationals, a Dutch residence permit with the annotations 'Arbeid vrij toegestaan' and 'TWV (Tewerkstellingsvergunning) niet vereist' allows them to work without the need for a separate work permit.
Invalid documents
Driver’s licenses: Driver’s licenses can't validate your identity or work eligibility, but we may ask you to upload it to verify your BSN.
Residence endorsement stickers or letters: Issued by the IND while you await your procedure, these are not accepted on Temper Staff.
Temporary documents: Documents like the 'Vreemdelingen Identiteitsbewijs' (Foreign Nationals Identity Document) are not considered valid as their validity expires once your application or appeal is decided.

Identity verification process
To determine if you can work Temper Staff shifts, we ask you to verify your identity by uploading your passport and taking a selfie. Hiring companies will ask you for identification at the shift location, so always bring your passport, ID card or residence permit. Remember, a driver's license is often not sufficient.
