To apply for shifts on Temper Staff, you need to be eligible to work in the Netherlands. Temper will be the employer on record during your shifts, so we need to verify your identity, your work eligibility and document your ID. We also need to record your BSN. Read more about this here.
Who can work in the Netherlands?
Anyone with Dutch nationality or nationality from a European Economic Area (EEA) member country is eligible to work in the Netherlands without restrictions. For individuals with a non-EEA nationality, Dutch residence permits stating 'Arbeid vrij toegestaan’ and 'TWV (Tewerkstellingsvergunning) niet vereist’ grant the right to work without needing an additional work permit. Identity verification process
To determine your eligibility to work in the Netherlands, we need to verify your identity. You’ll do this by uploading a photo of your passport, ID card or residence permit and taking a selfie. This process is completed entirely through the platform.
How is my information protected?
Your information is securely handled, and we ask that you only share your ID with Temper through our platform, not via channels like WhatsApp. Hiring companies who need to see your documentation will review it at the shift location, but are not allowed to make a copy unless your nationality is outside the EEA.
