When uploading your ID to Temper Staff, there are several common reasons why it might be rejected.
Here’s a simple guide to help you understand and resolve these issues.
How does the ID check work?
An ID check consists of 2 main parts:
Uploading a valid ID document: This can be a European (EEA) passport or ID card. A Dutch residence permit with the title 'Arbeid vrij toegestaan’ and 'TWV (Tewerkstellingsvergunning) niet vereist' is also applicable. We might ask you for a second document that also lists your BSN.
Taking a selfie for biometric verification: This confirms that you are the person related to the account.
We need to verify your identity, ensure you are allowed to work in the Netherlands, and collect your BSN since you’ll be employed.
Common reasons for rejection
Poor quality upload:
The entire document must be visible.
Ensure there is enough lighting (preferably daylight).
Invalid ID document:
Driver's licenses are not sufficient for work eligibility, but could be requested in order to validate your BSN.
Selfie issues:
Make sure your face is fully visible.
Your face should fit within the outline on the screen.
Work eligibility:
Your ID must allow you to work in the Netherlands.
Residence permits other than 'Arbeid vrij toegestaan’ and 'TWV (Tewerkstellingsvergunning) niet vereist' are not accepted.
Name mismatch:
The name on your ID document must match the name on your Temper Staff account.
