Tended devices can be attached to personal workwear using a range of attachments that will be provided alongside your devices.
Please note: we can make recommendations on where and how to attach your devices to workwear, however, please use your own knowledge to choose the most suitable location and attachment for the type of work being carried out.
Where should the Tended device be attached?
So your device performs as desired with accurate positioning, make sure it is attached over PPE in a location that will not become obstructed by body parts or equipment during your shift.
We recommend the device be attached to:
Shoulder
Upper arm
How do I attach the device to my PPE?
Tended provides a range of Klick Fast™️ attachments that can be used to attach your device. Klick Fast™️ are used by the emergency services, so they can be relied on for secure fixing.
To attach a device:
Slide the device in upside down and turn it 180 degrees to lock it in place
Check the device antenna is as upright as possible for best performance
What are the different attachments?
We have a few attachments available to suit the type of work you're doing, and also your preferences:
Shoulder harness attachment
The shoulder harness is a great choice for most rail works as the device position shouldn't interfere with your work or become obstructed during your shift.
Magnet attachment
Use this strong magnet attachment on either side of your outer layer of PPE to secure the device to your chest area.
Armband attachments
Use this strap to securely attach your Tended device to your upper arm.
