How to create a group

Find out how to create a group of users in the Tended Dashboard.

You can create a group of your organisation's users in the Dashboard and give them a unique name.

For example: group users together for specific project teams.

Creating a group is quick and easy, let's dive in πŸ‘‡

How to create a group

  1. First log in to the Tended Dashboard and click "Users" at the top of the screen

  2. Click "Groups"

  3. You'll be able to see all existing groups. Click "Add a group"

  4. Type in your group name. When happy, click "Next"

  5. Type in a brief description of the group. When you're done, click "Next"

  6. Now it's time to choose your admin(s) for this group. The admin(s) will be able to edit the group:

    1. Click "add admin"

    2. Search or scroll to find your admin(s)

    3. Click on your chosen admin(s) and they will appear in the "Selected admins" section. When done, click "Save"

    4. Click "Next"

  7. Now it's time to add your employees to this group:

    1. Click "Add employees"

    2. Search or scroll to find the employees you want to add to this group.

    3. Click each employee you want to add to this group and they will appear in the "Selected employees" section. When you're happy, click "Save"

  8. Now you've added your admin(s) and employees, click "Finish"
