How to change user roles on the Dashboard

Find out how to change user roles in the Dashboard. Choose a default role or a custom role to ensure your users have the correct access.

There are five default user types within the Tended Dashboard:

  • Superadmin

  • Admin

  • Planner

  • Site manager

  • User

How to change user permission

Please note: You must be a Superadmin to change the user roles within the Dashboard

  1. Log in to your Tended Dashboard.

  2. Click on the "Settings" at the top of the screen.

  3. Click the "User roles" tab across the top.

  4. Scroll down to see 'All users". In this table, you can see the user's default roles and custom roles.

  5. Find the user you would like to change the role for and click "Edit roles" on the right of the table.

  6. A modal will pop up. Here, scroll or search to find the correct role you would like to assign to this user. Then click in the check box.

  7. When you're happy, click "Assign roles".
