Process A Sale Of A Vehicle

TheCRM allows users to process sales of vehicles. A user may process a sale for a vehicle ordered from the manufacturer, a vehicle that needs to be located, or a sale that is still “pending”. A “pending” deal simply means that the deal hasn’t yet gone through the finance department or put in a finalized/booked status in the DMS. Users are not able to process a “booked” sale, as this comes directly from the DMS and includes all financial information. 

In order to process the sale of a vehicle, locate the meeting for the customer. 

Within the meeting there will be an icon with a $ symbol that is labeled “Process Sale”. Click to begin processing the sale. Choose the type of sale and follow the prompts (enter the stock number if a “pending” sale). Click Save.

Tip: If a manager is processing a sale, be sure to select the salesperson who sold the customer the vehicle. This will keep reporting accurate and the system will properly credit the sale.
