What is Willingness to Pay in Startups?

Willingness to Pay (WTP) is the maximum amount of money a customer is willing to spend on a product or service.

Examples:
A startup tests customers’ willingness to pay by offering different pricing tiers for their subscription service and measuring which price point generates the most conversions.
