You need to efficiently manage and navigate through a large pool of candidates on a kanban board, but finding specific candidates based on various criteria can be difficult and time-consuming.
Enhance your candidate management on the kanban board within Thrive with powerful search, filtering, and sorting capabilities to quickly and easily locate candidates by specific attributes.
In addition to global filtering, you can now filter your candidate list within a project by selecting one or more specific locations from the filter menu.
Search Functionality: Easily search across the kanban board to find candidates based on keywords or specific details.

Search for Project Records
As a member of a large organization, finding a specific project among many can be a challenge, particularly if you have access to all projects in your organization. With Thrive's company search, you can swiftly locate the project you need using any information you have.
Comprehensive Search: Thrive allows you to search the project database just as you would for people and companies. You can search by position title, hiring company, team member, or other project details, enhancing your project search efficiency.
Role-based Access: Administrators can adjust your role to either view only the projects you are a team member on or all projects in the database, simplifying your workload management when searching for projects.
Consistent Search Experience: The search functionality in Thrive for projects mirrors the way you search for people and companies, providing a uniform experience.
Search for People Records
Thrive gives me the ability to search for people within my own database as well as a global database in the application.
After clicking on People in the left side panel, I can search for people based many attributes, such as contact information, location, skills, or industry,
Filter people by region and metro area
On the People Index, use the Location filter to narrow results by geography — not just a single city or country. You can filter by:
Timezones
US regions and metro areas
International regions and metro areas
This helps you quickly find candidates or contacts based on where they live or work, whether that’s New York, London, or anywhere in between.
Advanced People Index filters
In addition to location, the People Index includes filters that help you zero in on the talent you need:
Years at primary company
Years in primary position
Job preferences, including:
Availability
Level
Stage
Function
Sector
Document type (for example, people who have a resume or cover letter on file)
Combine these filters with search to build a more precise shortlist from your database.
Search for Company Records
Thrive gives me the ability to search for companies within my own database as well as a global database within the application.
After clicking on Companies in the left side panel, I can search for companies based on many attributes, such as location, sector, revenue size, employee headcount, and ownership.

In-Context Search: Search for candidates directly within the project context, ensuring that all potential hires are relevant to the specific role.
Relevancy Scores: Each candidate in your search results is presented with a relevancy score, helping you quickly determine their suitability for the position.
One-Click Addition: Add people to your project with just one click, simplifying the process of building your candidate list.
Save for Later: Easily place potential candidates on a safe for later list if they might be suitable for future opportunities.
Mark Non-Fit: Mark candidates as not a fit with a simple click, keeping your candidate pool precise and manageable.
Filter by current or past company employment
When you use the Company filter on a project details page — including the Identified References and Past Projects tabs — you can limit results by employment status at that company:
Current employees only

Use this when you care whether someone is still at a company or previously worked there, without changing the rest of your search.
Global Search for any Records
Global Search can be found via the magnifying glass in the top right corner of the application. This is a place you can search for all of the records discussed above in this article in one place.
