Feature Enhancements
1. LinkedIn Chrome Extension
Significant extension updates to account for breaking changes made to LinkedIn’s UI for various users
Fixed the issue where URLs with additional information after the user name or country code at the beginning were not being recognized by the extension and displaying a “Not on LinkedIn” error. The scraper is now able to recognize the core URL even if there is more appended.
2. Notes Redesign & Improvements
A new notes slide out panel allows you to view and interact with the entire contents of the side panel while adding or editing a note. Browse a candidates existing notes, experience, or scorecards as you craft a new note. This new slide out applies everywhere notes can be created, including from the project and company side panels.
Share notes easily with a new split button. By default, notes will be shared with others in your organization. Click the chevron to open a sharing modal that allows you to update permissions for internal (within your organization) and external (hiring manager) users.
New visual indicators make it easy to differentiate between the various types of notes and who they are shared with. Icons to the left of the subject show the type of note: thumbs up/down, hiring manager, or rejection. Icons to the right of the subject show the sharing status of each note: globe for everyone (including Hiring Managers), people outline for internal, and lock for unpublished drafts.Hiring Manager notes have an additional tag to ensure they stand out.
Quickly filter for note created by hiring managers by turning on the “Client users only” toggle. Additionally filter by “Note Privacy” NOTE: Filtering by note type is coming soon!
3. Scorecard Redesign
The new notes slide out, sharing split button, and sharing icons detailed above have also been applied to scorecards. View a candidate’s profile while filling out a scorecard.
The default share for scorecards is set to everyone so internal and client users will be able to see scorecards unless you update the sharing settings.
4. Email Notifications of Hiring Manager Actions
Be notified by email whenever a hiring manager submits a scorecards, creates a note, or votes thumbs up or down on somebody. You’ll be able to see the content of the scorecard/note from the email itself, with a quick link to open the app.
5. Employee Notes on Company Profiles
View notes of current employees from the company profile and use additional filter to narrow down to specific candidates or projects. Toggle on “Company Notes” to view notes that are not associated with employees. NOTE: Former employee notes will be added in a follow-up sprint.
6. Project Filter - Assessment Status
Filter for candidates by “Assessment Status”, “Scorecard Date” range, and “Assessed By” from the context of a project so you can more easily narrow in on who’s been assessed.
7. Associations >> Projects & Lists
The “Associations” tab on a person profile is now “Projects & Lists” and it’s displayed more prominently as the third tab so you don’t need to search for it in the “Other” dropdown anymore!
The "Events" tab is now under the "Other" dropdown
View the highest stage reached by a candidate, even if it is not their current stage. Rejection is considered the lowest stage so you will be able to see what stage they got to prior to being rejected.
Move stages right from the Projects table by clicking the icon on the right. This opens the move stage modal and lets you change the status of candidates without needing to go into each project. NOTE: Candidate cannot be rejected at the moment. This will be added in an upcoming sprint.
