New Features

Send and Log Emails from Thrive

You can now send one-to-one emails directly from a Person or Candidate’s Outreach tab using your connected email account without switching to your inbox.

  • Start emails in context, with the recipient and relevant project prefilled when available.

  • Add CC or BCC recipients, associate multiple projects, format message content, and attach supported documents.

  • Send through your connected email provider, with the message appearing in your native Sent folder and automatically logged as an Outreach in Thrive.

  • Create and manage a reusable rich-text signature under My Account > Integrations. It is added automatically to new emails but can be changed or removed from an individual message without affecting the saved signature or your external email client.

Legacy API Facade

To provide a seamless migration path for Thrive 1.0 customers, we have introduced a deprecated legacy API facade layer that allows existing integrations to function against the Thrive 2.0 platform with minimal code changes. This facade reuses core Thrive 2.0 logic while transforming responses into the exact structural format, naming conventions, and error shapes expected by legacy Thrive 1.0 clients.

  • To enable legacy integrations to point at the new platform by simply updating their hostname, we established a dedicated legacy namespace and routing foundation that mirrors Thrive 1.0's JSON:API structure and paging behavior.

  • To support core recruitment workflows, we implemented T1-compatible endpoints for Contacts, Companies, and Searches, allowing full CRUD operations while mapping legacy fields to their modern equivalents.

  • To maintain workflow continuity, we added legacy-compatible endpoints for Candidacies, Candidacy Stages, and Candidate Tags, ensuring that search pipelines and candidate tracking remain functional for integrated tools.

  • To facilitate team and task management, we introduced facade endpoints for Users, Tasks, and Contact Networks, providing parity for user administration and task tracking.

  • To bridge the gap for relationship management, we are exposing Connections through the public API to support legacy integration requirements that were previously unavailable in the new platform.

Hierarchical Tagging

To empower admins with better data organization, we’ve introduced the ability to nest tags up to five levels deep, ensuring that when a child tag is applied, its parent hierarchy is automatically inherited for seamless record management and future filtering.

Manage GDPR requests natively in Thrive

Thrive now gives you the tools to support your compliance with GDPR and other data-privacy regulations - capturing consent, fulfilling data-access requests, and handling deletion, all from within the platform. Consent requests are triggered right from a person's profile, and their response is logged automatically. Data-access and deletion requests move through dedicated review queues in a new Data & Privacy admin section, and nothing is ever deleted automatically - every request is reviewed by a person before it's fulfilled.

  • Consent - Request a person's consent directly from the Data & Privacy section on their profile. An email is sent, their status updates automatically based on their response, and they can withdraw consent at any time - all of it tracked on their profile.

  • Data access requests (DSAR) - Log a request on the new DSAR Requests page, download what Thrive holds on that person, review and redact it, and send the cleaned export back to them — all from one place, with aging indicators so nothing sits too long.

  • Deletion - When someone withdraws or declines consent, they land on a Pending Deletions queue for review. You can also manually revoke consent from a person's profile if they reach out directly, putting them into the same queue. From the queue, you can permanently erase their data, with a compliance-ready record kept of the request and the action taken.

  • For admins - A new "Manage data privacy" permission controls who can access the DSAR and deletion queues, separate from who can request consent (available to all internal users).

Thrive Apply

Thrive Apply is now available in Thrive 2.0, enabling firms to manage the complete applicant journey within Thrive.

  • Create, preview, and publish branded job postings as public listings or private, link-only opportunities.

  • Let applicants browse and filter open roles, submit applications and documents without a Thrive account, and receive a customized confirmation.

  • Review, search, filter, and export submissions from a dedicated Applicants workspace, with notifications when new applications arrive.

  • Add qualified applicants to projects without creating duplicate People, reject others while retaining their applications, and track applicant activity and posting performance.

Feature Enhancements

Enhanced LinkedIn Export

To streamline your sourcing workflow, we've updated the LinkedIn CRM Connect 1-click export to automatically include position descriptions for a person's two most recent roles, ensuring you capture all the vital details without the need for manual copy-pasting.

Hyperlinked Person and Company Custom Fields

To improve navigation and record visibility, custom fields for person and company lookups are now displayed as clickable hyperlinks that open the corresponding record in a new tab.

Dual-Profile Reference Visibility

To ensure a complete view of professional networks, references are now automatically displayed on the profiles of both the person who gave the reference and the person who received it.

Stage Updates via Outreach

To keep project pipelines current without leaving your workflow, you can now update a candidate's stage for multiple projects directly within the Thrive Outreach form, consistent with the experience in the LinkedIn Extension.

Scorecard Improvements for People Lists

A few small improvements make scorecards on People Lists easier to track, search, and filter.

  • Activity log entries. When a scorecard is submitted for someone from a list, it now shows up on their Activities tab

  • Better search. The Scorecards tab search now covers list names too, so you can search by keyword, project, or list.

  • Filter a list by scorecard activity. Filter a People List down to people who have (or haven't) been assessed, and narrow further by submission date range or who assessed them.

Bulk Copy for Notes and Scorecards

To streamline candidate synthesis and external analysis, we’ve added a new "Copy" action to the Notes and Scorecard tabs, allowing you to instantly copy individual entries or all filtered results—complete with rich text formatting and essential metadata—directly to your clipboard.

High Impact Bug Fixes

Accent Search Normalization

To ensure you find what you're looking for regardless of accents, we've improved our search normalization so that unaccented search terms now accurately match and prioritize entities containing accented characters.

Fixed Linkedin Extension Issue

We fixed a bug in the browser extension that previously required users to "Save to PDF" twice.
