Step-by-Step Guide

  1. Access Your Cards Tab: Begin by navigating to the Cards tab within the app and select the card type (virtual or physical).

  2. Select Your Card: Click on the card for which you want to change the PIN. This will open up a page with previous transactions on that card and options to 'Fund Card', 'Show Card Details', and the three dots (…).

  3. Open Additional Actions: Tap on the tab with the three dots (…). This icon represents more options or additional actions that can be performed on your card.

  4. Choose the Change Card PIN Option: Among the list of actions that appear, select the “Change card PIN” button. This will prompt the system to initiate the PIN change process.

  5. Enter Your Account PIN: For security purposes, you will need to enter your account PIN. This step ensures that only authorised users can make changes to the card.

  6. Confirm the Change: After entering your account PIN, click on the “Confirm” button. Your request to change the card PIN will be processed, and you will be able to set a new PIN for your virtual card.

Tips for a Secure PIN

  • Avoid Common Numbers: Do not use easily guessable numbers such as 1234 or your birth year.

  • Use a Mix of Digits: Combine different numbers to create a unique PIN.

  • Change Regularly: Update your PIN periodically to enhance security.

  • Keep It Confidential: Never share your PIN with anyone.

Important Note

When you change your PIN using the app, only the online PIN is changed, not the offline PIN. If you are using a POS machine that prompts for the offline PIN first, and you enter the new online PIN several times until the offline PIN counter is exceeded, the POS will then prompt for the online PIN.

To ensure a smooth experience after changing your PIN, we recommend that you:

  • Use an ATM: Perform a balance inquiry using an ATM before using your card at a POS machine. This helps to update the offline PIN with the new PIN.

By following these steps, you can ensure your card remains secure. Regularly updating your PIN is a good practice to maintain the security of your financial transactions.
