Guest Insights Overview
The Guest Insights feature will show key trends from individual guest visits, such as new vs. repeat guests, average check size, retention rate, and more—all in one place.
To access Guest Insights, log in to Toast Web and navigate to Guests > Insights > Guest Insights.
New: The number of guests ordered in the selected date range for the first time.
Returning: The number of guests that ordered again in the selected date range.
Total: The total number of guests that ordered in the selected date range.
Lapsed: The number of guests who ordered six months before the selected date range but not during it.

Guest Insights Spend Per Guest
Spend per guest displays the Average guest spend and the New guest spend within the selected date range.

The Guest Insights Retention Rate displays the percentage of guests who returned and placed another order within the selected date range.

The Guest Insights Time to Return metric displays the time it takes for a guest to return and place another order.
