Set Up and Connect the Navori STiX 3700 Media Player
Delphi Support recommends that once you are given access to the Insight Engage Platform, that you start adding, scheduling, and publishing content to prepare for when you connect your media player to your screen. |
Once you receive your Navori STiX 3700 media player(s), follow the instructions below to build and install your media player to your screen. Note that there are two separate workflows if you are using your own screen and connecting a media player or if you are using a screen that has a built-in media player.
Prior to connecting your media player to your screen, make sure you have a CAT 5 ethernet cable available to connect the media player to your screen.
Build and Connect the Navori STiX 3700 Media Player to Your Screen
The instructions listed below may vary depending on your screen's design and layout.
Open your Navori STiX 3700 media player package. Set all components to the side. Delphi support recommends that you use a hardwired network connection (ethernet cable) for the media player. Delphi support does not recommend you use a Wi-Fi connection. If you use a hardwire connection, you do not have to attach the antenna to the media player.
Plug the power cord to the USB-C port on the media player. The power cord must be plugged into a direct power outlet.
Plug the HDMI cable into the HDMI port on the media player.
Plug the HDMI cable from the media player to your screen. Delphi support recommends that you only use the cables and cords provided in the media player package.
Plug your CAT 5 ethernet cable to your screen.
Plug the screen's power cord into a direct power outlet.
Power on your screen. Switch to the HDMI source input. Note that two workflows are available depending on if content has been uploaded and published to the Insight Engage Platform.
If your media player has been configured but no content has been published to the Insight Engage Platform, then the screen's menu appears.
If your media player has been configured and content has been published to the Insight Engage Platform, a Delphi welcome message appears on the screen. After 5 minutes, your published content will appear on the screen.
Connect a Tizen Samsung TV (Built-in Media Player)
Delphi offers Samsung Tizen OS Smart TVs that have built-in media players. This means that the media player is pre-configured in the TV. To display content that has been published on the Insight Engage Platform, you need to connect the ethernet cable and plug the TV's power cord into a direct power outlet.
