If your Stix 3700 digital signage media player shows no signs of life, follow these steps to get it back up and running.
Verify Power Connections
Check that all cables are firmly connected:
Ensure the power cord is pushed all the way into the media player device.
Check the connection between the cord and the power brick.
Confirm the power brick is plugged securely into a wall outlet.
Test the Outlet
To rule out a power source issue, plug another device (like a lamp or phone charger) into the same outlet to ensure it is working properly.
Perform a Hardware Reset
If the unit still won’t turn on, a manual reset can often jumpstart the device. You will need a paper clip or a similar thin tool.
Unplug the power cord from the media player.
Find the small pinhole on the side of the player (near the warning label).
Insert the paper clip into the hole. Press and hold the internal button down.
While still holding the button down with your paper clip, plug the power cord back into the device.
If successful, the blue lights on the media player should turn on.
