What do I do if the suggested tip amounts do not match across receipts, online ordering, or the Guest-Facing Display?
Answer
Sometimes when adjusting the Suggested Tip Amount, it won't automatically reflect on receipts, online or on the guest-facing display (GFD).
To adjust these settings in Toast Web to reflect correctly:
Navigate to Payments > Payment methods > Payment options.
Toggle the Tip & Signature UI setting to whatever option is not currently selected.
Save and publish.
Navigate to Front of house > Order screen setup > UI options.
Update the Tip Amounts to the correct amounts.
Save and publish.
Go back to Payments > Payment methods > Payment options.
Toggle the Tip & Signature UI setting back to original configuration
Save and publish.
