Get Started With the Tattle Integration

Learn how to set up the Tattle integration with Toast.

Tattle is a Customer Experience Improvement (CXI) platform built for hospitality that helps restaurants collect actionable guest feedback data by interacting with customers across every ordering channel using existing third-party tools and API integrations.

This integration requires access to Toast Partner Integrations. To learn more, see Set Up Toast Partner Integrations.


Key features of the Tattle integration:

  • Feedback Collection: collect statistically significant guest feedback volume using a causation-based for optimal confidence levels and actionability for improvement

  • Omni-Channel Measurement:collect feedback across all ordering channels, especially off-premise, as off-premise can generate lower guest satisfaction than the dine-in guest experience

  • Identify High-Impact Areas for Improvement: a proprietary algorithm called Opportunity Rank to identify high-impact areas for improvement that, if improved, will help increase Overall Guest Satisfaction.

  • Guest Recovery: dissatisfied guests can be recovered through Tattle with Apology emails and Oops! Card rewards

  • Email or SMS Survey Send: Tattle can send a feedback request via email or SMS 90 minutes post transaction to any guest that has a transaction with Toast. This can include dining in or ordering online!

Enable Tattle With Toast

  1. To enable Tattle with Toast, navigate to the Integrations section of Toast web using the left-hand navigation menu. Then, select Integrations management > Browse & purchase integrations.

  2. Enter Tattle in the Search field and then select Add Now.

    1. Note: Your restaurant must have access to Toast Partner Integrations to add this integration. To learn more, see Set Up Toast Partner Integrations.

  3. Review the data scope visibility terms and conditions and select Confirm to accept. See the Data Scope Visibility article for more information.

  4. Once confirmed, the Tattle team will contact you within one business day to complete the integration process, or you can contact customersuccess@gettattle.com, and someone from the Tattle team will contact you within one business day.

Onboard With Tattle

Once the integration process is complete, the Tattle team will walk through the following to complete onboarding:

  • Dashboard: Create a customer dashboard

  • Survey: Review and finalize customer survey

  • Locations & Team Members: Add locations and team members to respective locations

  • Touch Point: Launch Toast and/or digital ordering integration

  • Education: Dashboard demo webinars for inquiring team members
